Beschrijving
The lake of Hindemade Sø has several small islands for ground nesting birds and the area is a gorgeous spot for waders and meadow birds. Kleine Plevier, IJsvogel and Kluut are seen and birds of prey regularly sweep the area. For example Zeearend that nest further east near Haderslev Fjord are often seen over Hindemade. Rode Wouw is also often seen at Hindemade.

Parking lot at the end of Hindemadevej. Click on the P in the map for directions. Round trip around the lake is about 4 km, but there are plenty of trails in the forest as well. So if you are up for more, have a look around.
