During the migration, the pond is an important habitat especially for Grauwe Gans , Toendrarietgans , Kolgans , Wintertaling , Pijlstaart , Grote Zaagbek , Zeearend and Pontische Meeuw .
During migration Waterrietzanger occurs regularly. Significant are roosting places Boerenzwaluw , Oeverzwaluw and Spreeuw , when the largest flocks reach even more than 100,000 ex.
