This area along the Vltava River is not a very beautiful place, but you can find some interesting birds there and there are many ducks and swans on this part of the river. Mandarijneend is common. Also common are Kuifeend, Dodaars, Knobbelzwaan, Wilde Eend, Kokmeeuw, IJsvogel, Zwarte Roodstaart and Groene Specht. In winter Pontische Meeuw and Aalscholver are regulars. If you have a bit of luck, you can also find Krakeend. In the winter, some rarer ducks like Slobeend, Smient, Brilduiker, Grote Zaagbek or Krooneend can be found there.
