It's a good place to see buntings, like Cirlgors or Zwartkopgors. Other birds who like open countryside can also be found. In spring you can see breeding Baardgrasmus and Grauwe Gors. There are also Wielewaal and different shrikes, like Grauwe Klauwier, Roodkopklauwier and Klapekster in the area.
On the dump there are gulls and Raaf.
