The town of Baška is located on the island of KRK. It is a very beautiful area. The coastal strip has beaches, hiking trails, rocks, and vegetated areas. Various gulls can be seen in this strip, such as Geelpootmeeuw. You can often see Vale Gier. Other birds of prey can also be found here, such as Slangenarend. If you walk from the beach onto the rocky paths, with a bit of luck you can find Rode Rotslijster. Abundant in the area is Kuifaalscholver and actually impossible to miss.
