Large coastal lake, partly used as salinas. Provides excellent conditions for breeding of Kluut, Strandplevier, Scholekster, Grote Stern and other. One of the easiest places to see Lachstern, Dunbekmeeuw, Breedbekstrandloper and other specialities.

Stop near the Police check-point (not in use) at the place where the road from Pomorie toward North reaches the Road E87, park the car there and walk towards East till you will reach the bank of the lake.
