Gradski Park Bihać is located along the fast flowing mountain river Una. In the winter there are hundreds of ducks, mainly Wilde Eend. Some other duck species can be seen like Krakeend, Pijlstaart and Wintertaling. In the trees there are common birds like Koolmees, Pimpelmees and Grote Bonte Specht. In spring other birds can be seen in nearby trees at the park migrating back to the mountains above. Also at the park in spring you can see Zwartkop, Vink and some other species. During the breeding season, outside the city you can see Waterspreeuw and Grote Zaagbek who nest nearby. Also other species like Ooievaar, Blauwe Reiger and Buizerd.

You can park in the village and explore the area on foot. To explore the surrounding area further outside the city a car is necessary.
