Birds of marshes and wet meadows are found in the open area such as Blauwborst, Rietgors, Waterral, Grote Zilverreiger, Pijlstaart, Watersnip, Porseleinhoen, Zomertaling, Wulp, Kievit, Rietzanger, Cetti's Zanger, Roodborsttapuit.
Birds in the semi-open landscape with wood edges are Grauwe Klauwier, Nachtegaal, Spotvogel, Tuinfluiter, Grasmus, Torenvalk, Ransuil, Geelgors, Kleine Bonte Specht, Boomvalk, Kneu. In the older forrest on the sandy hills breeding birds are Wespendief, Zwarte Specht, Middelste Bonte Specht.
