Among the birds you can see here are Bergeend, Slobeend, Wintertaling, Kokmeeuw, Woudaap, Blauwe Reiger, Kleine Zilverreiger, Grote Bonte Specht, Putter, Blauwborst, Rietzanger, IJsvogel, Fuut, Geoorde Fuut, Tafeleend, Wulp, Roerdomp, Watersnip, Waterral, Groene Specht and Cetti's Zanger.

You can discover the area by foot or bike, after parking your car at different spots. At the Molsbergenstraat you find the visitor center where you can get a map of the area. There are parking spots in Molbergenstraat and Hamstraat 1. Click on a P in the map for directions. The circular walking route on the map is about 8 km.
