Beschrijving
Any birder travelling in either direction along the Highway is likely to at least have a quick look at this location. There are permanent pools here and, if in flood, the Murchison River (second longest in Western Australia) can carry amazing volumes of water. Birding can be done on either bank.
The site has a very respectable list of birds recorded and is a relatively reliable spot for the usually 'hard to pin down' Black-tailed Nativehen.
Other birds common at the location are Red-capped Robin, Zebra Finch and Black-fronted Dotterel.
