Andorra la Vella (the capital of Andorra) is a unique area as it has many different habitats around it, including mountain rivers, cliffs, buildlings, some small wooded areas and mountains. The bird life here ranges from Waterspreeuw, Grote Gele Kwikstaart, Witte Kwikstaart and Wilde Eend in mountain rivers, to birds like Raaf, Rotszwaluw and Vale Gier on cliffs surrounding the city. As well as these bird species there are many others, such as Blauwe Reiger, Aalscholver, Huiszwaluw, Kuifmees, Rotsduif, Groene Specht etc.

You can get to Andorra la Vella by following the CG-1 road past the border until you reach the largest city and capital of Andorra, Andorra la Vella. You can also get there by crossing the French border (longer drive from any airport, and much more mountainous) and going in a generally southern direction towards Andorra la Vella.
