Description
Located in the heart of the Somerset Levels and Moors, Greylake is a flat wetland with good paths and reedbed. Thanks to all the water, you can see калуѓерка, црвенонога тринга and обична бекасина nesting in the spring. Smaller birds such as мал трскар, Жолта тресиопашка and Мочварна овесарка can be heard and seen singing from the trails.
Over winter, vast flocks of ducks and waders, being hunted by birds of prey. калуѓерка and златно блатарче are sometimes joined by обичен свиркач, бојник and црноопашна блатарка. Large flocks of патка свиркач, патка берија and smaller groups of патка лажичарка, сива патка and патка ластовичарка feed in front of the hides. сив сокол and блатна еја are seen regularly and мал сокол and Полска еја occasionally.

Access
There is a free car park off A361 (Ashcott to Taunton road) well signposted just before entrance. There is a boardwalk which meanders from the car park to the hide and provides disabled access. Said to be wheelchair friendly but never tried.
