Description

RSPB Garston Wood is a beautiful patch of ancient woodland all year round, with spectacular spring flowers, and autumn fungi, hosting species such as мала црноглава сипка, кукавица, зимовка, жолтоглаво кралче and обичен ползач. There are plenty of mammals on site too, with Dormice, Badgers, and Fallow Deer.

Access

The best way to visit RSPB Garston Wood is by car, the site is accessible from the A354, turning off to Sixpenny Handley, and is just a little further North. Parking is available on site for free, in a small carpark. Click on the P in the map for directions.

Public transport links are available to Sixpenny Handley from Salisbury and Poole, from which there is a 5 min cycle, or 30 min walk to the reserve.
