Description

Roundhay Park has 700 acres of parkland, lakes, woodland, gardens and a mansion house. There is 1 small lake which many birds breed on and 1 large lake. A dense woodland with almost all woodland birds present. Plenty of trails. Its a nice place to bird as you can get around 40-50 species on a visit if you are lucky. During the winter months expect larger number of ducks and thrushes and during summer warblers such as обичен свиркач and црноглаво грмушарче turn up. Other birds you can see are Rose-ringed Parakeet, рибарче, жолтоглаво кралче, елова сипка and голем клукајдрвец.
