Paignton Beach has a long promenade with mown grass along it's full length, a pier at it's centre with a harbour at the South end.
Paignton Beach is East facing with a pier (FREE, open 09.00-10.00 winter/08.00-23.00 summer), during summer the area is extremely busy. It is a good area for grebes/divers/terns and other seabirds but unfortunately there can be disturbance during the peak holiday season.
There are numerous car parks in the area with some on street parking. Esplanade Road runs the full length of the beach, with mown lawns between the road and seafront/pier. There are good footpaths running the full length.
