Picturesque Marshfield is a small medieval market town, occupying an exposed position on the dip slope of the southern Cotswolds. The surrounding countryside is a bird friendly area. An extensive network of agricultural land and plenty of stone walls and some hedgerows. Bus: the 635 Bristol - Chippenham service operates to/from Marshfield from The Centre (Colston Street) every two hours Mondays to Saturdays. The journey takes about 1 hour. The circular route indicated on the map is about 8,5 km long.
