The Great Orme headland is a massive chunk of limestone that rises 207m straight out of the sea. The sea cliffs, limestone grassland, heathland and woodland support a big variety of birds. The cliffs are host to colonies of seabirds (such as Common Guillemot, тропрст галеб, Razorbill). The Great Orme is also home to many resident and migrant land birds including гавран, кукумјавка and сив сокол. Occasionally црвеноклуна галка is spotted. Also lots of seabirds on the sea. Like мал црногрб галеб, Голем морски галеб, Сребренест галеб, Northern Gannet, Black Guillemot, морски корморан and Common Scoter.
There are lots of different walks up and around the Great Orme summit in Llandudno. The Great Orme Nature Trail is a circular walk around the headland, starting and finishing at the summit. The trail is clearly marked. The long route is 6.5 km, the short route 5.5 km.
