Description

Clara Vale Local Nature Reserve is a small but charming nature reserve. The reserve was established in 1995 on the site of a former coal mine. It covers approximately 3 hectares and offers a variety of habitats, including hedgerows, woodlands, and wetlands. Peace and serenity in this overlooked nature reserve. Wheelchair friendly circular path (500m).

Access

Clara Vale Local Nature Reserve is located northwest of the town of Ryton. There is a parking area with no charge next to the cricket field. Press P on the map for directions to the parking area.
