Description

Broom Lakes are former gravel pits that have become a nice habitat with pools and wet meadows that are interesting for many water birds and waders. When you walk around Broom Lakes you can - depending on the season - see good numbers of duck, including гусковидна патка, патка берија, патка свиркач, цуцулест кожувар, сива патка and Дива патка. Both цуцулест нуркач and мал нуркач are often seen. Other birds that can be seen here include речна чигра, мал пескар, среден пескар, остригар, калуѓерка, црвенонога тринга, голем северен нуркач, Мочварна овесарка, жолтогрла стрнарка, црвена луња, глувчар and Обична (Црнонокна) ветрушка.
