Lake Girdev is good for Alpine birding in the Taurus Mountains. During the winter it is covered by ice. However, during spring and summer it is nice place to get a rest in the Muğla province. There are several houses which are used by especially locals. Also, these locals run their own places to sell coffee, tea and food.
