Description
İron Marshes is located in the western part of Mount Nemrut which is an extinct volcano. During the winter, it is a foggy area where you can see hot water springs in the center of these marshes. Reed beds, hot water springs, small lakes, streams, bushes, hills, and scattered trees are there. сив жерав and штурче трскарче can be seen in the area. Best option to explore the İron Marshes area is by car. During the winter it can be slippery on the unpaved roads. Zoom in and click on a P in the map for directions or coordinates.
