Description

The Cheyres nature reserve offers the opportunity to see big groups of diving ducks, generally very close to the shore. Up to 10000 патка превез have already been counted there. The path between the lake and the reedbeds is beautiful all year round (it might eventually be busy at the heart of the summer).

Access

Access with public transport is easy by train going to Cheyres train station (one possibility would also be then to walk towards Yvonand or Estavayer trains stations afterwards).

The best (and almost only) way to visit the area is to walk. There are wooden paths that are mostly designed to walk. You can make a circular walk of about 3 km (see the map).
