Description
The Långfjället Nature Reserve is one of Sweden’s largest. The highest peak is Storvätteshogna, at 1204 m. It has areas of pure primeval forest without traces of forestry. On the moutain plateau it is lovely walking with plenty of birds on top and in dales. Lots of Алпска (Снежна) кокошка, ливадска трепетилка, златно блатарче and обично камењарче. You also find Siberian Jay (in the coniferous forest) and зеленонога тринга (around small bog areas in the forest). And along the streams and rivers the воден ќос is a common sight. In the lakes and streams you can find ducks like патка берија, четириока патка and белец.You can also encounter moose, foxes, martens and brown bears.
