Lake Lagårdssjön in Strömsholm is ranked as one of the best birding sites in Västmanland. From a nice platform (that is handicapped accessible) you have a good view over the wetland. Especially in the spring, the lake is well visited by ducks, geese and waders. A spotting scope is a must. Among the birds you can encounter are шумска тринга, мал пескар, белоопашест орел, дива гуска, патка лажичарка, црна рибарка, сив жерав, сокол ластовичар, обична бекасина, орел рибар and many more, see the birdlist below.
