View of the nutrient-poor lake Risbrodammen near Gigeryd farm from a bird observation tower. The area has patchy moors and islands. In the background the wide Dumme Mosse bog spreads out. Quite a barren environment with coniferous forests all around. Worth visiting all year round. During the breeding season you can observe the bog birds and in winter birds of prey can be seen here. Also some migrating birds are passing through in autumn and spring. Birds you can observe include мал морски нуркач, белец, сив жерав, обична бекасина, златно блатарче, голем српоклун свиркач, блатна еја, белоопашест орел, златен орел and сокол ластовичар.

Access
Gigeryd is located 14 km west of the city of Jönköping. The area is accessible by car or bicycle. Park at the parking lot (sign by the road) 300 meters west of the Gigeryd farm. Press P on the map for directions. From the parking Follow the field edge to the southeast, about 300 meters, and the well-hidden birdwatching tower is between the trees on the beach, down to the right.
