Mountain area with open spaces, cows, bushes and forests.
Serra Cavallera - Coll de Jou - Bruguera (Ribes de Freser) is a mountain area with bushes and forests. A protected Natural Area (Natura 2000 and Special Conservation Zones ZEC). The Taga, with an altitude of 2,038 meters, is the highest peak. In the highest parts you can see raptors like египетски мршојадец, глувчар, Обична (Црнонокна) ветрушка, црвена луња and брадест мршојадец. And in the areas of pastures and shrubs smaller birds such as шумска чучулига, жолтогрла стрнарка and ливадска трепетилка.
By car to Ribes de Freser and then take the road to the town of Bruguera. Then you have to head towards Coll de Jou, below the Taga peak.
Accommodation Hoastal Moline is recommended (see link below). A fantastic small and very family friendly hostel located right in the bird watching area with excellent food and treatment.
