Excellent area to observe both waders and passerines on the Bahía de Cádiz west of the city of San Fernando.
Polvorines is an area with old army magazines with oyster stone walls where you can see the marsh on one side and scrubland on the other. You can observe birds many waders and passerines. For example birds like Red Knot, розев фламинго, Црвенонога сабјарка, морски пескар, сива пиштарка and орел рибар.

The Polvorines area is located west of the city of San Fernando. The area can be reached from the Bahía Sur shopping center parking lots. Click on the P in the map for directions to the parking. From the parking the area can be explored on foot or by bike.
