Description

Parque de los Jesuitas is one of the largest and most atmospheric green spaces in Salamanca. It is a former Jesuit orchard transformed into a spacious public park with long avenues, fruit trees, ponds, and shaded paths. The mix of fruit trees, shrubs, and water draws in many birds including дебелоклун црешар, обична зелентарка, Rose-ringed Parakeet, жолтарче, билбилче, Пупунец, голем клукајдрвец, полско врапче, циганче, црноглаво муварче, славејче, црвеноглаво кралче and црноглаво грмушарче.

Se trata de un antiguo huerto jesuita transformado en un amplio parque público con largas avenidas, árboles frutales, estanques y senderos sombreados. La combinación de árboles frutales, arbustos y agua atrae a numerosas aves, entre ellas дебелоклун црешар, обична зелентарка, Rose-ringed Parakeet, жолтарче, билбилче, Пупунец, голем клукајдрвец, полско врапче, циганче, црноглаво муварче, славејче, црвеноглаво кралче y црноглаво грмушарче.

Access

Parque de los Jesuitas sits on the eastern side of Salamanca, right along Avenida de la Aldehuela. From the Plaza Mayor you can walk in about twenty minutes by heading east through San Esteban and continuing downhill toward Aldehuela. Several city buses run along nearby routes as well, dropping you within a short walk of the gates. If you’re arriving by car, the surrounding streets offer parking. Desde la Plaza Mayor, se puede llegar caminando en unos veinte minutos, dirigiéndose hacia el este por San Esteban y bajando la cuesta hacia la Aldehuela. Varias líneas de autobús también circulan por las inmediaciones, dejándote a pocos pasos de la entrada. Si llegas en coche, hay aparcamiento en las calles aledañas.
