Description

Paraje Natural Laguna Grande is a small oasis on the migratory route of birds. It is a semi-permanent freshwater reservoir with a maximum depth of 4 meters and marked seasonal water level variations. Thanks to the maintenance of water throughout the year, especially in summer, this wetland is especially important for waterfowl, since the natural lagoons of the province are dry and in the lagoon they find food and shelter. Among the birds you can see are црвеноглав кожувар, патка превез, мал нуркач, црноврат нуркач, грлица, Црвенонога сабјарка, мал пескар, ноќна чапја, ибис, Red-necked Nightjar, блатна еја, ќук, Iberian Magpie and саријазма.
