Description
The Boumort National Game Reserve, a protected area since 1991, is located on a site of more than 13,000 hectares in the western Catalan pre-Pyrenees. Boumort is the only area in Europe where the 4 vultures of Europe breed, (белоглав мршојадец, црн мршојадец, египетски мршојадец, брадест мршојадец). This route is done by car, it starts from the town of La Pobla de Segur, to the town of Pessonada. Once past the town you take the track to the left, and continue along the track, until the fence. From here, begins a bad forest track, where a 4x4 car is necessary, until you reach the refuge, and you follow the track through the northern part of the mountain until you reach the town.
