Description
Ganghwado (강화도) is an island in Incheon which is connected with mainland by road. On the south of this island, there is a mudflat area which is good for birding. The species you can watch here include the Red-crowned Crane, Chinese Egret, Eastern Curlew, Whimbrel, Bar-tailed Godwit, Terek Sandpiper and Eurasian Oystercatcher.

Access
The best access is by car. You can also take public transport, but it is recommended to check the timetable in advance since reaching from Seoul can be complicated. You can get off at Dongmak Beach (동막해변) bus stop.
