Quite rare waterfowl for inland are regularly observed, such as: морски кожувар, белокрила црнка, Common Scoter, ушест нуркач, мал морски нуркач and белец. The lake is a feeding ground for белоопашест орел. Geese spend the night on the reservoir, mainly: дива гуска but also northern geese.
Along the eastern shore there is an asphalt path and several piers from which you can observe birds. The west bank is partially built-up and inaccessible.
