Jezioro Zygmunta Augusta (also called Czechowski Lake) is an old reservoir. On the southwestern shore of the lake is the village of Czechowizna. The lake has a size of 500 hectares and the shores have large reed beds. The reservoir is used for breeding carp. Many birds are attracted to the lake especially during migration periods.
