Bugaj Reservoir is a great place during spring and summer time. There is a breeding colony of речна чигра, црна рибарка and езерски галеб. Two or three pairs of блатна еја also breed there. It is also a breeding place for црвеноклун лебед, мал нуркач, голем воден бик, мустаклеста сипка, зеленонога блатна кокошка and цуцулест нуркач.
