Description
You can explore the entire Veines peninsula and also the platform over the sea where several bird species can be observed, including Black Guillemot, голем корморан, морски корморан, речна чигра, Arctic Tern and gulls. Some shore birds as среден пескар or Purple Sandpiper can be observed all summer, and остригар may nest on the beach during summer there. Water birds as Common Eider and среден северен нуркач and also a diversity of small birds as Синогушка, Snow Bunting, обична зелентарка, планинска сипка, Брезова чинка and бела тресиопашка contribute to the very interesting diversity. In fact all parts of the peninsula are good for birding.

Access
By the main road you acces Veines and you park the car at the begining of the walking trail. Click on the P in the map for directions. You can walk all over the peninsula on the left when you start walking. At some point of the walk up in the mountain you will find an observatory. It is also possible from the end of the peninsula (lighthouse) to spot whales during migration.
