Description
Trettøya is a wet forest area along the river Orkla with a small seasonal lagoon. It is a breeding area for many passerines. Some waders also, like остригар, речна тринга, зеленонога тринга and црвенонога тринга. Also a chance on feeding сив жерав. мал пескар breed in the area. Other birds you can encounter are градинарско грмушарче, мал трскар, жолто гушанче, патка лажичарка, сива патка, црна лиска, четириока патка and патка берија.

Access
There is a rough gravel road crossing a metalled bridge from the County road. Several parking possibilities. Click on a P in the map to get directions to that point. Observe salmon fishing in the river from June 1st to August 31st. Can cause some traffic and disturbances. No public transport, so bicycle from nearby communities or by car is mandatory. Occasionally and partly flooded.
