Description
The "Tichelgaten" is a fairly small natural area near the village of Buren and consists of several small ponds, reedbeds, pastures and small forested areas. Once, this area has been excavated for clay and has been turned into a small natural area since. The area is a good spot for many species of common songbird, woodpecker and small numbers of waterbirds. Frequently sighted species are зелен клукајдрвец, црноглаво грмушарче and сиво муварче. The small ponds and reedbeds are a great spot for трскар рогозар, мал нуркач and рибарче. The small forested area in the west provides good habitat for woodpeckers, like голем клукајдрвец and sometimes мал клукајдрвец.
