The hilly Mariëndaal estate is located north of the city of Arnhem. The estate has undulating fields and meadows with cattle, forest, streams and ponds. In the middle of it are some farms and old houses. You will find a mix of forest birds and birds from more open areas, for example северна ѕвингалка, Обичен (Шумски) лазач, голем клукајдрвец, Шумски (Обичен) був, жолтоглаво кралче, мала црноглава сипка, дологоопашеста сипка and црноглаво грмушарче. Near the streams and ponds you will find рибарче and планинска тресиопашка.

Nederlands: Het heuvelachtige landgoed Mariëndaal ligt aan de noordkant van Arnhem. Het landgoed heeft golvende akkers en weilanden met vee, lanen, bossen, sprengen, beekjes en vijvers. Te midden daarvan liggen enkele boerderijen en oude huisjes. Je vindt er een mix van bosvogels en vogels van meer open gebieden, bijvoorbeeld северна ѕвингалка, Обичен (Шумски) лазач, голем клукајдрвец, Шумски (Обичен) був, жолтоглаво кралче, мала црноглава сипка, дологоопашеста сипка en црноглаво грмушарче. Access
The estate is located 4 km from the center of Arnhem. With the bus from Arnhem station you have to walk for another fifteen minutes, the fastest option is therefore to rent a bicycle at the station (4 km by bike). By car you can park on the road Mariëndaal 2, 6861 WN Oosterbeek. Click on the P in the map for directions. The circular walking route indicated on the map is approximately 3.5 km and signposted with red markers.
