Description

Het Grote Vlak often holds a lot of ducks ( патка лажичарка , сива патка , патка ластовичарка , гусковидна патка , патка свиркач and in spring патка крецка ), gulls and grebes. Sometimes waders, like црноопашна блатарка , are abundant and few songbirds, like карпеста трепетилка and планинско ливадарче (sometimes even Синогушка ), can be found. The area is also good for finding горски гулаб , обично камењарче and in winter гаќест глувчар .

Access

Het Grote Vlak is easily accessible from the village of Den Hoorn towards the beach. You can park on the roadside, but try to give way to cyclists on the parallel cycle path.
