Description
Cape Ghir is one of the westernmost points on the Moroccan coast. Therefore, this is an excellent place to watch the bird migration at sea. The rocky promontory is easily recognizable by the lighthouse that you see from afar. Among the birds you can observe are Northern Gannet, Голем завој, Balearic Shearwater, Razorbill, арктички поморник, Great Skua, тенкоклуна чигра, шарен српоклун свиркач, Lesser Crested Tern, жолтоног галеб and Audouin's Gull. Also Northern Bald Ibis can fly by. Western winds bring most birds. A spotting scope is necessary for good observations.
