Description
The Rusen ponds cover a large area of reedbeds, open and closed ponds and Salix bushes and trees. In the main pond (nr 1) a colony of езерски галеб also harbouring црна рибарка , along with them белобрада рибарка, белокрила рибарка and касписка рибарка can be seen.
Also living in the ponds мал нуркач and црноврат нуркач together with a good variety of ducks such as патка лажичарка and патка крецка. From the reedbeds голем воден бик, штурче трскарче and обичен трскар can be heard together with мустаклеста сипка and сипка торбарка.
You move through the area on top of the banks and there are a good number of roads to explore the site.
