Description
Spring and autumn are best for this oasis. Passerines include шпанско камењарче, црвеноглаво страче, White-eared Bulbul, Цуцулеста чучулига, мало црноглаво грмушарче, источно-медитеранско грмушарче and наочаресто грмушарче. Wetland birds include 3 species of egret, дамчеста барска кокошка, сива барска кокошка, крекс, ноќна чапја, црвена чапја and жолта чапја, црн штрк and штрк. In the surrounding desert there may be потполошка, Чурулин, белоглав мршојадец, степска еја, планински орел, Синајска руменка, Desert Owl and Tristram's Starling. There is a raised walkway, hides and a cycle track.

Access
By road the site is 70 miles east of Amman, where day tours, car hire and taxi hire are available. Advice is to carry plenty of water and avoid midday heat. The cycle route is 12 km and the raised walkway 3/4 of a km.
