Description

Parco Naturale Regionale Litorale di Ugento is a protected natural area along the Ionian coast, in the southernmost part of the Salento peninsula. It protects an area consisting of dunes, a series of tidal basins and connecting channels and the largest area of Mediterranean scrub in Salento. There are various environments and therefore different species of birds that can be observed. Among the birds you can encounter are мал нуркач, црна лиска, жолтоног галеб, Audouin's Gull, езерски галеб, морски пескар, сива чапја, мала бела чапја and мало црноглаво грмушарче.
