A relict marsh, formed by floods of the Po river, lined with reedbeds, surrounded by high anthropized farmland. црвена чапја and Мал воден бик nest here.
The Lancone Gussola Oasis is an ancient bend in the river Po with reed bed habitat that is home to several species of swamp birds. In winter and during migration the Lancone is populated by many species of ducks and other aquatic birds from Northern Europe. A great area for birding because many species can be seen here. To name a few: црвена чапја, Мал воден бик, блатен трскар, обичен трскар, свиларче, обично грмушарче, барска кокошка, кукавица, горски гулаб, мал корморан, голем корморан, патка берија, пчеларка, речна чигра are common in this area.
Following a dirt road located on the edge of the Oasis, you arrive in "Valloni", where Lipu has planted a 5-hectare grove, very close to the Po. Another interesting itinerary starts from Cascina Palazzo, within the borders of the Oasis, and you get to the "brush" containing the floods from which you can access the Maria Luigia Island, an important ornithological site.
