Description
The KM 19 pool is famous for its Lichtenstein's Sandgrouse that come in to drink at dusk. The pool is also good for ducks, herons and waders. Among the birds that can be seen are патка крецка, патка ластовичарка, боцкокрила калуѓерка, White-throated Kingfisher, нубиско страче, розев фламинго, црн кожувар, Asian Green Bee-eater, Црвенонога сабјарка, бојник, зеленонога тринга, чапја лажичарка, тенкоклун галеб, касписка рибарка, блатна еја, црвена чапја, ноќна чапја and Мал воден бик. Access
The ponds are located 19 km north of Eilat. Come off Route 90 from the south, drive due east. Passable for all kinds of vehicles. Some parts may be muddy at times.
