Description
The small Rif wetland is located in the area of Melrakkaslétta on the Snaefellsnes peninsula in northwest Iceland. It is a breeding area for many birds and has an ideal location between the coast and the mountains. Among the birds you can encounter are мал морски нуркач, ушест нуркач, Common Eider, Red-necked Phalarope, среден северен нуркач, Brent Goose, жолтоклун лебед, Arctic Tern, среден пескар, црноопашна блатарка, црвенонога тринга, арктички поморник, Iceland Gull and Glaucous Gull.
