Park the car at the southern side of Skala Katerinis/ Olympiaki Akti and follow the beach southwards. Species that can be found here are голема стрнарка, Чурулин and пчеларка. Reaching the river mouth, species that can be expected are Црвенонога сабјарка, ноќна чапја, ибис, црвена чапја, мал корморан, медитерански галеб and тенкоклун галеб.
On the way back it might be worth to do a detour and follow the river upstream and after a while turn northwards.
