Description

Ziegelrodaer Forst is a big deciduous forest, which is dominated by oaks and beech trees. Natural rivers in the north of the area are the Querne, the Schmoner Bach and the Kriebitschbach. Next to many birds and red, black and roe deer that can be found in the forest. The area is a good place to see црвена луња with a density of 12.0 pairs / 100 km². But it's also a good area for woodpeckers and other forest birds. See the birdlist below.
