All year round, gulls such as езерски галеб,, Сребренест галеб, Голем морски галеб and обичен галеб can be observed. In summer мал црногрб галеб also appears. There are also many species of ducks such as патка лажичарка, патка берија, патка свиркач, цуцулест кожувар, четириока патка and, more rarely, individual морски кожувар.
On the small lake, waders such as шумска тринга and шарена тринга can often be seen on mud flats. Many songbirds can be seen in the reeds and small trees. Worth mentioning are several breeding pairs of Синогушка but also мустаклеста сипка, планинско ливадарче and Мочварна овесарка can be seen every year.
A special feature is the црвеноврат нуркач, which has the only nesting site here on the west coast of North Friesland.
