Biebricher Schlosspark in Wiesbaden is a park with a fairly old population of trees at Biebrich Castle.
The castle park was laid out between 1817 and 1823, in the style of an English landscape garden. In het old park of Biebricher Castle birds find plenty of food and nesting holes in the old, exotic trees. With big colonies of some very modern guests like Rose-ringed Parakeet and Alexandrine Parakeet.
Biebricher Schlosspark is located south of Wiesbaden on the river Rhine. Train: S9 to the Wiesbaden stop. Parking spaces at the castle garden. Click on a P in the map for directions to a parking.
The Biebrich Palace, one of the most important baroque palaces along the Rhine, is located directly on the banks of the Rhine in the Wiesbaden district of Biebrich. The Biebrich Palace, which was designed as a garden house in 1701 and expanded into a residential palace by 1703 and finally served as the main residence of the princes and dukes of Nassau until 1841, is now used by the Hessian state government for representation purposes.
